When to replace pivot cups
If your pivot cups are misshapen, have a hole in the bottom of the cup or they are cracked or split, they need to replaced.
Pivot cups are possibly the the most overlooked and undervalued part of the skateboard. Since you typically cant see how bad they are worn out, they never get replaced and your ride suffers.
Pivot cups are the small bushings in the baseplate of your truck that keeps your trucks turning effectively. Eliminate slop, have smoother turns, and have better stability with a brand new set of pivot cups!
