Ecotex LED Emulsion does not require mixing in diazo. This pre-sensitized emulsion is ready to use straight from the container.

12 Month Shelf-life

A benefit to using a pre-sensitized emulsion is the long shelf-life. Ecotex LED Emulsion can be stored on the shelf for 12 months after opening. Please note exposing the emulsion to extreme hot and cold temperatures will compromise the product.

LED Light Source

The green pigment in the emulsion slows down exposure time, this is ideal for prints with finer detail. LED Emulsion is formulated for use with an LED exposure unit.

Compatible With

Ecotex LED Green is compatible with water-based, plastisol, UV, and solvent inks systems and endures long print runs without breaking down.

Screen Prep

  • We recommend Ecotex Hyper Haze, it will degrease your screen and give the emulsion a clean surface to stick to.
  • Eliminate any UV light from entering the room and work under a yellow light.
  • Write down the day you opened the emulsion on the bottle to better keep track of your chemicals.

Coating Screen / Drying

  • Use the sharp edge of your scoop coater
  • Make sure screen is completely dry before coating emulsion
  • Make sure screen is completely dry before printing

Drying

  • 86 ° to 104 °F (30 ° to 40 °C)
  • 30% to 50% humidity
  • Good Air Circulation

Exposure Times

Exposure times may vary, start using the times provided below and make adjustments to time if needed.

5 - 10 seconds with 80W LED Light

  • Light source 2-3 inches away from the screen
  • Light source under the screen and artwork

5 - 10 minutes with 500w Halogen Light

  • Light 14-15 inches away from the screen
  • Light source suspended above the screen
