Featuring what we call more traditional style gold pans or finishing gold pans, this gold prospecting equipment kit is designed for intermediate to more experienced gold prospectors who are able to work with and successfully pan down larger and heavier materials. This kit is designed for capturing more coarse gold or gold nuggets versus very fine gold flakes or gold flour (although this is still possible with a sharp eye!) The 10 and 14 inch prospecting pans included in this kit are absolutely the stand out components of this kit, that will allow you to effectively pan for gold. The large 14 inch pan is great for panning lots of material down (a few pounds) to see if you’re on the gold. It can handle large amounts of material and single wall riffles will allow you to pan off large unwanted materials like rocks and gravel. It also features a handy water guide to rid the pan of unwanted water without losing material. When you have a smaller deposit of materials, move to the 10 inch finishing pan. The high contrast color of both these pans will help to highlight any gold, other precious metals, fossils or gems in against other material; both these gold pans are seasoned (rough texture ideal for capturing gold), lightweight, rust resistant, UV resistant, buoyant and made from high impact, very durable ABS plastic.

The other gold prospecting equipment accessories in this kit are for gold examination, collection and storage. Use the metal magnifying tweezers to examine valuable found materials once cleaned. The snuffer bottle will assist with removing gold or other valuable items from your gold pan before you place for safe keeping in the glass storage vials (with screw top). Also included in this kit is a 1/2 inch classifier screen or sifting pan to help eliminate large, unwanted materials like gravel and rocks. This classifier screen is also made from high impact ABS plastic and features stainless steel mesh wire for durability and longevity.
