Step 1 : Pass the steel band into buckle as shown. |
Step 2 : Bend the band around object and to be clamped, with end of band again through buckle. |
Step 3 : Place band in open slot of tool nose and gripper block move into slot as far as possible, to avoid buckle sliding into tool nose. |

Step 4 : Clamp the band, pull down the handle and tighten, adjust the appropriate tightness but avoid over tight. |
Step 5 : Turn the banding tool to the two corners to close the buckle. |
Step 6 : Pull down the blade handle to cut the steel band. |
