Description

The American Educational 2100 U.S. mounted rocks and minerals collection is used for geological study, and has 100 specimens for identifying and comparing rare and common rocks and minerals. The collection features minerals and igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks for detailed examination, and is number-coded and includes a key sheet for identification. The 2100 has a compartmented tray for display and storage, with specimens that measure 1/2 to 1” (L). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right.) Specimens in this collection may vary, based on availability at the time the product is packaged. The collection has a guide for instructional use or individual study, and is suitable for grades 5 to 12 and ages 10 to 18.
