Steps to Make a Candle with our Candle Dye Chip: 1) Prepare your Candle Wax: Melt your candle wax to the recommended temperature in a double boiler or a wax melting pot. 2) Add the Dye Chips: Once the wax has melted, add your desired amount of diamond dye chips and stir the wax and dye chips until they are completely melted and all dye has dissolved. We recommend starting with 1 dye chip per 1 pound of paraffin wax; for soy candle wax, start with 2 dye chips per 1 pound of wax. Other waxes may require 4 or more dye chips per pound. Color shade will vary based on the type of wax used. 3) Add Your Fragrance (optional): After the dye chips are melted, you can optionally add your desired fragrance oil. 4) Pour the Wax: Once the wax and dye chips are completely mixed, pour the wax into your candle mold or container. 5) Let the Candle Cool: Let the candle cool and harden for at least 24 hours. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEESWAX OR GEL WAX.
