Why plug gets hot when dehumidifier is working?

Our dehumidifiers are more efficient than others, and it is normal phenomenon for the adapter to get hot when it is running efficiently, And the temperature of the adapter is within the safe range

Just collect very little water for a few days?

The dehumidification is related to the temperature, the humidity and the size of the room. make sure it is running in a relatively confined environment, with high humidity(RH>45%), and the temperate should over 15℃ (>59°F)

May I keep running it all the time?

Actually, we do not recommend you running it all the time. Please cut off the power cord after 24 hour running and let it rest for at least 10 minutes. That would be better for using lifespan

Does the power cord/adapter get hot when using

According to the working principle, the dehumidifier needs power to operate and it needs time to dehumidify, the adapter will get warm but can be touched when using. But for your safety, we do not recommend children to touch it

Will this dehumidifier stop working when temperature under 59°F or over 104°F ?

When the temperature under 59°F or over 104F, the dehumidifier will not totally stop working, but the dehumidification effect will be weak, almost zero.
