Description

Precautions:
1.During microscopic examination, the effect of dripping Immersion oil is to allow the light source to enter the objective lens as much as possible, avoiding light loss through low refractive air (refractive index of 1.0), thereby improving the resolution of the objective lens and making the object image bright and clear.
2. Microscope Immersion oil requires its refractive index to be basically equivalent to that of glass. Our company produces oil immersed refractive index of 1.510 and glass of 1.52.
3. Aim at the light under a low magnification mirror and adjust the reflector by hand until the field of view is at its brightest. If using natural light sources, it is advisable to use a flat reflector, while weaker light sources should use a concave surface. Check unstained specimens and do not use too strong light. Stained specimens require strong light. The intensity of the light can be adjusted by enlarging or reducing the aperture, lifting the spotlight, and rotating the reflector.
4. The lenses of the microscope should never be wiped with fingers, but should be lightly wiped with wiping paper or silk cloth.
5. After using the oil mirror, immediately gently wipe it with lens wiping paper.

Method of using microscope immersion oil:
1. Turn on the microscope power. Switch to the low magnification mirror, adjust the intensity of the light, and find the target area on the slice.
2. Drop immersion oil onto the slice and let the oil cover the field of view to be observed.
3. Switch to the oil mirror and carefully observe the shape in the field of view.
4.After observation, move the stage to the lowest position and wipe the oil lens with xylene.
5. Turn off the power supply of the microscope.
