The gauge sensor can be installed inside the vehicle to measure inside temperature, or outside the vehicle (frequently behind the front bumper, or on the side view mirror) to measure outside temperature. With an extremely accurate sensor gauge of ±1° F, you will never have to worry about misreadings. For temperatures 34° F or below, the auto thermometer gauge will flash an “ICE” warning momentarily as there may be ice on the road.
