This Kit includes precision tuned Official polished BSA Axles pinewood and lightly lathed BSA Wheels to make your car fast.
Wheels are precision lathed in five areas to remove all imperfections and make them concentric to the wheel bore, so your wheel turns smooth to minimize friction. Areas lathed include tread, outer rim, hub surface that makes contact with car body, the outside of the hub and in addition, we remove the step in the wheel where the axle head makes contact with the wheel so the axle and wheel surfaces are perfectly smooth. Your wheel turns smooth and flawlessly to make your car fast.
Axles are straightened, deburred, the crimp marks are removed and then the axle is polished. With precision tuned axles and wheels friction is minimized so your car will be fast.
Both the axles and the wheels are from the official scout derby kit, so they are legal in all races, as long as your rules allow you to remove imperfections from the wheels.
ALWAYS read your rules! The rules should say that you are allowed to do "light sanding" to remove imperfections on the wheels. If you have questions, always ask your race manager for clarification.
