How to choose the front derailleur?

Choose a compatible front gear based on the maximum number of teeth on the tooth plate

Measure the diameter of the seat rod

-The diameter of the seat rod is less than 27.2mm, and a 31.8mm caliber front derailleur is generally used

-If the diameter of the seat rod is greater than 30.8mm, a 34.9mm caliber front derailleur is generally selected

Bicycle Front Derailleur Parameters：

  • Suitable for mountain bikes
  • Speed: 3 x 6/7/8 speed
  • Compatible crankset: Three piece type (triple cranksets)
  • Top gear teeth: 48T
  • Center line of chain: 50mm
  • Installation method: Clip ring type
  • Can be used in a top-pull (cable routed from the top) or bottom-pull (cable routed under the bottom bracket) configuration.

Note: The installation of this derailleur requires that you open the bike chain
