Maria Diaz is the author of 7 cross stitch books and has created hundreds of cross stitch designs. She studied fine art in Leicester, England. After graduation she joined DMC Creative, the worlds largest supplier of needlework supplies, and became DMCs first in-house designer. Eight years later she decided to go out on her own. She moved to London and landed a contract as specialist needlecraft consultant with Eaglemoss Publications.
