Easy to Use, 2 Ways of Install
- Connect the HUD display to your car. The satellite is flashing and searching for a star
- When the satellite stops flashing, press the key button and hold to enter setting item 8 to adjust the calibration local time
- Check if the speed unit is accurate, you can go to setting item 7 to set the speed unit to MPH/KMH, i.e. "1"/"0"
- Fine-tune the speed to be accurate:
A. About the value of 107, long press the “OK” key to enter the setting item 1, and we can see the default car speed is 107.
B. If the speedometer shows faster than the car dashboard speed meter, then 107 needs to be reduced downward(107-?)
C. If the speedometer shows slower than the dashboard, 107 needs to be increased upward(107+?)
According to the difference to adjust the default parameter "107" in setting item 1, the specific adjustment difference depends on how much the difference between the SinoTrack G16 speedometer and the car dashboard value.
G16 speedometer is higher than the car dashboard value, then reduce the parameter value
G16 speedometer is lower than the car dashboard value, then increase the parameter value
If you find that the speed and distance readings do not match what your cars factory gauges read, then there is a way to calibrate that, as well. You may still have a slight error, but its not much -- maybe about 1% or so.
