The tightening ring is designed to be used in conjunction with the Lyndex-Nikken 5C collet block and collet closer. Once a collet is secured into the collet block, use the tightening ring to secure the collet from pushing out of the block. The ring has threads on the inside and setscrews to hold the ring and collet in place.
