Easy to Install RV Step Brace
Before purchasing, ensure that your RV step unit does not have braces or other structures underneath the step that can prevent the RV step brace upper plate from making proper contact with the step.
- Place the unextended RV brace under the bottom RV step. The base plate and the upper plate should lay flat and in proper contact with the ground and the step, respectively.
- Rotate the brace’s upper plate counterclockwise until it comes in contact with the RV step.
- Test the step. There should be little to no bouncing or movement at each step. Adjust as needed. Make sure to not overextend the RV step brace to where its pushing the step up.
To ensure your safety and to ensure maximum stability, do not thread the brace all the way through. Leave at least 3 rotations from the base of the brace.
For best results, you can use 2 RV Step Brace Stabilizers on each end of the bottom step. This will allow equal weight distribution on both ends.
