We are a Los Angeles-based company dedicated to high-quality lap steels and accessories. It was founded by Master Luthier Bill Asher, who designed his first lap steel with Ben Harper in 1998 and has continued to create superior instruments and accessories for the slide guitar community. His flagship design is the Electro Hawaiian Junior lap steel 6-string guitar played by novices and professionals worldwide and praised for its solid construction and versatility. It’s currently being used on major world tours, movie soundtracks, and session work - and we can’t forget local living room rock stars. Known as a master guitar craftsman by legendary musicians such as Jackson Browne, Ben Harper, and Neil Young, Asher’s decades of experience working on thousands of guitars has made him one of the most sought-after luthiers in the country.
