The stainless steel screw absorbs movement in the fascia, while the over-bored screw hole allows fascia to expand and contract. This system has been shown to eliminate oil-canning by allowing the fascia to move independently of the rim joist. Use with TOPLoc Fascia Drill Bit (sold separately) to predrill perfect overbore and countersink for screw.
