The updated design of todays modern fullsize trucks require specialty tools rated for heavyduty equipment. Such is the case with servicing and replacing the pitman arm on 2010 and later Ford, GM, Dodge and other fullsize pickup trucks. This 18200 Pitman Arm Torque Adapter allows technicians to loosen and tighten the large sector shaft nut without having to remove various sub components such as the track arm, track arm bracket and related suspension pieces which can be very time consuming. This tool also includes a special design feature that enables it to clear the steering box housing and other obstacles. Its designed to work on both the factory pitman arm and aftermarket dropstyle pitman arms that are installed on trucks with lift kits. The insert card includes proper torque specs for the added length of the Torque Adapter.
