The new WIDIA Top Cut 4 (TC4) portfolio is a broad offering for customers looking for a versatile indexable drilling platform. The newly developed TC4 features improved centering capabilities and inserts with four cutting edges for both pocket seats (central and periphery). This, in combination with the renowned WIDIA grade technology, leads to outstanding flexibility and efficiency. The TC4 platform offers three easy-to-select grades and two geometries applicable for steel, cast iron, and stainless steel materials. It covers the diameter range from 12–68mm within the standard offering in L/D ratios of 2–5 x D.
