- What is tufting art？
Tufting is a type of textile manufacturing in which a thread is inserted on a primary base. It is an ancient technique for making warm garments, especially mittens. In the past two years, tufted rugs have become a DIY sensation on TikTok/INS/FB and other social media.
- What is the Tufting frame?
A Fufting Frame is a tool used to hold a tufting cloth. If you want to create a tufting carpet, you not only need a good gun, but also a safe, sturdy NODOCA METAL Tufting Frame.
Why are we developing this Aluminum Tufting Frame?
- Wooden tufted frames use sharp nails to fix the cloth, which is potentially dangerous. In order to work in a safe situation, our development department thought of using plastic screws to fasten the cloth, and it was successful in the experiment.
- Wood frames are susceptible to moisture, while metal is more stable, lasts longer, and is more cost-effective.
How to Fix the Cloth？
- Cover the tufting frame with the cloth.
- Snap the knob into the groove and twist it ninety degrees to tighten.

3 Steps,15 Minutes.
Step 1 Build a preliminary framework as shown above.
a. Match 20 T-screws and Hexagon Screw Caps (T-screw and screw cap do not need to be tightened). The last 2 T-screws will be used to secure the aluminum column.
- 4 T-screw combinations for Step1, 4 combinations for Step 2, 8 combinations for Step 3, and 4 combinations for Step 4.
b. Pass the prepared T-screw Combination through the Aluminum Corner and use the Hexagonal Wrench to securely fasten the Screw in the Aluminum Tube groove. And then build a preliminary framework as shown above.
Step 2 Assemble wire routing parts.
Match 2 Orbital Screw Caps and Circle Screws, then put them in the groove and spin them.
Step 3 Assemble the yarn holder.
Put the Aluminum Column and the extra 2 T-screw into the Aluminum Tube groove and rotate to fix it. (Aluminum columns are used to secure the tufted yarn.)
