The Cable Matters 1/4 Inch TRS to XLR Male to Female Cable is the ideal solution for interconnecting audio equipment with the common 1/4" TRS (6.35mm) female port to equipment with a male XLR connector. This full-featured cable has a soft PVC jacket for easy use and storage. Sturdy metal connectors have gold-plated contacts to reduce oxidation and mold strain-relief on the XLR connector to maintain the cable integrity. Heavy gauge 20 AWG oxygen-free copper conductors are encased in bare copper braid shielding to provide pure sound that is noise free.
Important Note:
A condenser microphone needs external DC power to operate. Normally, it is supplied by phantom power.
