The Large Bio-Orb includes two full PyroDino pouches and a Large DinoNutrient pouch to provide the maximum glow. The Large Bio-Orb is powered by PyroDinos (Plant-Plankton) and requires daily light (like a plant). At night the Large Bio-Orb provides natural light (Bioluminescence) when swirled or moved.

The natural blue light produced by the Large Bio-Orb is called Bioluminescence (light from nature). Taking care of the Large Bio-Orb is like caring for a houseplant, daily light and moderate temperatures. DinoNutrients can be added twice a month to create more PyroDinos! More plant-plankton! Cleaner air and less CO2

The Large Bio-Orb has a silicone stopper with a small hole to allow air exchange. In goes CO2 and other pollutants and out comes fresh O2.

Plant-Plankton like the PyroDinos in the Bio-Orb is responsible for most of the air we breathe. Scientists estimate plant-plankton produce up to 70% of the oxygen in the earths atmosphere.

We call our Plant-Plankton (aka Phytoplankton) PyroDinos. PyroDinos are marine microalgae that are also referred to as dinoflagellates. These dinoflagellates are found in Oceans worldwide and provide the very basis of the Ocean Food Web. By converting CO2 and sunlight to Oxygen and simple sugars, PyroDinos not only supply food for ocean fish and invertebrates they also produce fresh O2 for us to breathe. In fact the oceans phytoplankton produce more O2 than all land plants combined.

Simple to Grow

PyroDinos are grown on a sea farm in San Diego and not removed from the ocean. One PyroDino cell was isolated over 10 years ago off the coast of San Diego. From this one cell, PyroFarms has grown all of our PyroDinos under LED and natural lighting. Simple to grow and easy to grow.

Natural Light at Night

PyroDinos produce a natural light at night called bioluminescence. PyroDinos will only produce bioluminescence during nighttime hours (dark cycle), in the dark, while swirled. The natural light is transient and will only occur while the PyroDinos are in motion. Enjoy them in the Large Bio-Orb or your favorite clean, clear container.

Sea Life Better with PyroFarms

The Large Bio-Orb can be filled and poured off into new containers. As your Bio-Orb fills it can be poured off into new containers. There is no limit to how much you can grow. The Large Bio-Orb is ideal when half-filled but can flourish from 1/4 to 3/4 full.
