Will this work with locline?

Yes.It can be used with locline. But please notice that its fine for a 1/2-inch locline, if for a 3/4-inch locline, you had to enlarge the holes a little.

Is the buoyancy 175g for one piece (so a set = 4x175g buoyancy) , or for the total for the set of four combined is 175g?

175g is for one piece. So total will be 4x175g=700g.

How many floats can be put in a 5 inch ultralight arm?

For MINIFOCUS, 4" ultralight arm just mounting 1 block, 5" and 6 can mount 2 block, 8" can mount 4 block.

Which is better, the buoyancy blocks or the carbon fiber buoyancy arm?

If you have extension arm, its recommended that you choose buoyancy block kit, first of all, the price will be cheaper, and the buoyancy will be similar. If there are no extension arm, it is recommended that you choose a carbon fiber buoyancy arm.
