Working in laboratories usually means working with very small quantities of things. Adding a microgram here and taking one away at another place can create a completely different situation for the experimenter. This is why it is very important to measure things as precisely as possible.

This is where the USS-DBS3 Digital Analytical Balance Scale steps in. The analytical scales have been designed to measure quantities in the sub-milligram range. Because those quantities are very small and sensitive to outside influence, all of these scales are equipped with a draft shield to prevent anything from the outside affecting the measurement (sometimes the smallest of breezes can completely change what is being measured).

This particular scale can measure things up to 200 g in weight with the precision of 0.001g. It is an electronic device, and it will display the measure on an LCD display with a backlight. It has the function of Manual Calibration, Parts count,Tare Function, Fault Display, Unit Conversions(ounce, karat, gram, pound).

How to Calibrate the Balance?

1. Press and hold down CAL key, when it shows "CAL" on display, release the keys; then value of the necessary weight will flash on display.

2. Put the calibration weight on the pan. Wait until the value of the calibration weight stops flashing and is fixed on the display (e.g. 100.000 g, 200.000g, etc., depending on the model).

3. Remove the weight from the pan

4. The balance will enter weighing mode and will display 0.000g
