Lif the Carlift the car to get easier access to the flex pipe, which is located underneath the car. |
Mark and Make the CutsMark the locations of your cuts (account for the overlap if needed). Make your cuts. If the flex pipe was fixed by clamps. Just loosen the hose clamps in order to unmount it. |
Insert New Flex PipeMove the broken flex pipe, and replace it with the new flex pipe. |
Fix by Welding or ClampsFix the flex pipe by welding. (disconnect your battery ) If you fix it with hose clamps, you may need exhaust system sealant. Start the car and check for leaks. |
