Please follow this procedure:
1.Gently pry up the fuel pump service cover with a screw driver or pry bar. Go around slowly, trying not to warp the cover.
2.Release the wiring harness connector under the service cover.
3.Push the rubber grommet out of the service cover and remove the wire.
4.Position the 6599 fuel tank lock ring tool in this thread in the notches.
5.Attach your breaker bar and turn counter-clockwise, remover the ring until it is in completely loosened.
6.Once the ring is loosened, vacuum the area again, even if you did it before.
