HOW TO CLEAN THE MICROSCOPE

  • Wipe method:

First remove the dust on the lens surface with a cleaning cloth or a blower. then use a clean flannel to make a spiral unidirectional motion from the center of the lens to the edge. after wiping once, change the flannel and wipe it again until it is clean.

If there are oil stains, dirt or fingerprints on the lens that cannot be wiped off, you can use a willow branch wrapped in absorbent cotton, dipped in a small amount of alcohol and ether mixture (80% alcohol, 20% ether) to wipe.

The surface of the lens has a layer of violet-blue light-transmitting film, its normal and do not wipe it off by mistake.

  • Wipe Range:

Eyepieces and condensers are allowed to be disassembled for wiping. due to the complex structure of the objective lens, special instruments are needed to calibrate it to restore the original accuracy, so it is strictly forbidden to disassemble and wipe.
