Operations

1.Select a working environment with no direct light on the device, clamp the slides on the platform, make sure the cover glass faces the objective lens.

2.Turn the 40X objective lens to working position, lift the platform until it touches the objective lens to check whether the limited lifting position is correct.

3.Start observation with the 4X objective. Connect the microscope to a power source and turn on the LED illumination.

4.Turn the coarse and fine focus knob until a clear image is obtained.

5.Rotate the converter to change to high magnification objective lens (10x or 40x), turn the focus knob to a clear image as the same in step 4. .

(Be careful not to touch the slide when rotating the objective)

How to make biological microscope slides

1. Collect your specimen. It can be any biological sample that interests you, such as a piece of plant tissue, a drop of pond water, or a hair from an animal.

2. Place your sample onto the slide.Use a dropper or tweezers to position your sample onto the center of the slide.

3. Add a drop of water to the slide. Depending on the nature of your sample, you may need to add a liquid, such as water, to help it spread out on the slide.

4. Cover the specimen with a cover slip, press gently on the cover slip to remove any air bubbles.

5. Stain the sample (optional). Many biological specimens benefit from staining to see specific parts. There are a variety of staining solutions available.

6. Wait till the sample to dry before view the slide under the microscope.
