Fan Clutch Removal Steps:
- Step 1: In order to loosen the fan clutch, you should leave the serpentine belt on.
- Step 2: Choose the correct size wrench and place it on the fan clutch.
- Step 3: Insert the straight rod extension into the end of the wrench.
- Step 4: Place the 3/8 drive deep socket on the end of the pneumatic extension.
- Step 5: With your hammer, hit the socket placed over the pneumatic extension end.
Tip: If you have an air hammer (pneumatic hammer), you can use the impact air hammer instead of a hammer and 3/8 drive socket.
