Feature

●EYE AND EYE: Is specific to a single-leg sling with flemish loop ends on either side, also known as a Wire Rope Choker. Use of these slings for lifting is prevalent due to its strength and durability.
●FLEMISH EYE SPLICED SWAGING: The sling ends are mechanically formed allowing for larger load capacities. Loops are secured with a forged metal sleeve over the spliced area along with heavy-duty thimbles to protect the ends of the sling.
●DOUBLE TAGGED FOR SAFETY: Two tags are used on HSI slings to identify WLL (Working Load Limits). Riggers can reference critical information for safe sling application and OSHA compliance.
●GREATER WEAR RESISTANCE: A 6 x 25 IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core) classification for wire rope slings offer large outer wires that provide a balance between fatigue and wear resistance.
●AMERICAN MADE RIGGING: Hanes Supply, Inc. is proud to be the industry-leading USA based manufacturer of hoisting solutions for industrial construction and building projects since 1930. All slings are manufactured in a certified ISO 9001: 2015 facility.

Description

Wire Rope Slings by HSI

Wire rope slings, designed for strength, flexibility, and abrasion resistance, are an ideal choice for heavy lifting and rigging jobs. With resistance to heat, water, sunlight, and chemicals, wire rope slings are used by construction, mining, marine, and energy industries around the world to reliably lift and secure loads.

Hanes Supply’s American-made wire rope slings are manufactured in a wide variety of constructions, each offering different benefits like increased strength, flexibility, or abrasion resistance.

Single Leg Bridle Slings

To create the standard flemish eye mechanical splice, rope is separated at each end into two parts – 3 adjacent strands, and 3 adjacent strands and core. These two parts are then re-laid back in opposite directions to form an eye, and ends are secured with a pressed metal sleeve.

Two Leg Bridle Slings

Two-leg wire rope bridles are ideal in applications in which two lift points are required.

All-purpose three-leg wire rope bridles are recommended for handling unbalanced loads.

Four-leg wire rope bridles are used for both balanced and unbalanced loads. They are ideal for heavier loads where design calls for more distribution of weight by the use of attachment at four points.

Nylon Web Slings

Nylon strings are a strong, lightweight, and very flexible rigging solution trusted by industries throughout the world. Made and treated for abrasion resistance, as well as temperatures up to 180 F. High resistance to alkaline environments, but should never be used in acid conditions.

Chain Slings

Chain slings are used primarily for overhead lifting in conjunction with a crane or lifting device. Standard sling configurations consist of chain branches which are affixed on one end to a master link or ring with some type of attachment, usually a hook, affixed to the opposite end.

Chain Lifting Slings provide excellent performance in harsh environments. When using a chain for overhead lifting, an alloy grade, either grade 80 or 100, is recommended. Both are manufactured in house by HSI from special alloy steel and engineered for a superior combination of strength and durability.

Polyester Slings

Polyester round slings offer a highly versatile solution for heavy lifting applications. This continuous loop of polyester fibers delivers exceptional strength and flexibility with minimal stretching. Manufactured for abrasion resistance and is color coded by weight capacity for easy identification of slings.
