Multi-parameter integrated electrode for Hydroponic Nutrient Solution Testing
YINMIK WIFI pH tester uses advanced integrated electrodes, which eliminates the trouble of connecting multiple electrodes and facilitates measurement. The wire is 2m long and can be hung anywhere convenient.
Plants cannot absorb nutrients when the pH levels are too high or low, so monitoring and maintaining the pH levels are vital for hydroponically grown plants. Nutrient availability in hydroponic systems generally occurs at a pH between 5.5 and 6.5.
EC that is too high will burn the plants, EC that is too low will cause malnutrition and stunt growth.
Remember always to check the EC of the water used before adding anything, as this is to be subtracted from the final EC to know exactly what the current EC is.
Water temperature is directly related to how much dissolved oxygen a hydroponic system can support.
As temp rise, less oxygen can stay in the solution.
In a deep water culture type hydroponic system the amount of dissolved oxygen is directly related to ability for the plants to absorb nutrition.
High humidity restricts the transpiration rate. Hydroponic farming, whether in a greenhouse, or indoor grow room, generates large amounts of moisture. When gone unchecked, high humidity can damage the plants, and slow down their growth.
