This is typically a small metal nozzle or valve with a screw-on cap. Hold the torch upright and insert the tip of the butane fuel canister into the refill valve. Make sure the nozzle is aligned with the valve and the canister is held steady. Press the butane canister down and into the refill valve to create a tight seal. Apply gentle pressure and ensure that the canister is fully inserted into the valve. Press the canisters nozzle down and into the valve to release the butane into the torch. You will hear a hissing sound as the fuel is released into the torch. Hold the canister and torch steady while you fill the torch. Allow the butane to flow into the torch until it is full. You can tell the torch is full when no more butane is being released and there is a small amount of fuel that drips out of the valve. Once the torch is full, remove the butane canister from the valve and replace the cap on the refill valve.
