Precision Outside Micrometer

Specification: 4-5 Inch range, 0.0001 inch accuracy

Measuring Surface: The measuring surface is made of hard alloy steel, hard and durable

Knob: Roller printing knob (ratchet locking device) design, uniform force measurement, effectively improve the measurement accuracy

Design: The shaft is engraved with a scale to provide repeated measurements, and the spindle lock helps secure the measurement position

Note: Do not rotate the ratchet with special force, otherwise it will cause damage; the reading should be made to one tenth of the minimum degree

Locking Device Design

Grasp firmly, not easy to fall off, locking design effectively locks the measuring column, improve the accuracy of measurement

Easy to Read

Laser line engraving, numerical scale is clear, easy to read the value

Applicable Environment

Outer diameter micrometer, suitable for plate thickness measurement, workpiece measurement, mold processing, etc

Precautions

When not in use, the micrometer should be placed in a protective box to prevent damage caused by collisions from affecting the measurement accuracy

Steps to Use

1. Zero calibration, ensure that the front edge of the differential cylinder is aligned with the transverse line, and the spindle scale is aligned with the zero scale of the differential cylinder

2. When measuring the object, first rotate the ratchet to adjust the distance between the side drill and the side micro-screw to slightly larger than the object size, and put the measured object into it

3. Slowly turn the ratchet until it makes a clicking sound to start reading. The clicking sound indicates that it has been clamped

4. First, take the end face of the differential cylinder as the straight line to read the indexing value of the scale line under the fixed sleeve

5. Then take the horizontal line on the fixed sleeve as the reading line and read out the indexing value on the movable scale
