The Pre73 Jr. MKII boasts vintage-style, Class A electronics with zero integrated circuits or surface-mount components while offering a gain range of 20–70dB and truckloads of ear-grabbing character. You also get a flexible front-panel instrument DI, a separate output knob for achieving those coveted saturated textures, and an insert jack for your favorite EQ or compressor. Polarity reverse, a single-LED level indicator, and phantom power add further value to this preamp. Moreover, this MKII version includes a 2-position high-frequency Air boost and a selectable 6dB/octave 2-frequency highpass filter. You also get a low-noise external power supply, and its small housing allows you to mount four units in a single 19-inch rack space. Want to pack lots of 73-style preamplification into a small
