How to connect the Tb6600 driver ( or Stepper Motor) to CNC Motion Control Card?

  • It should be noted that the wiring diagram of the 4-axis motion control card above is for reference only, then if you connect this control card and the TB6600 driver, such as connect to X-axis motor driver, then:

  1. Drivers "CLK-" connects to control cards XP pin ,
  2. Drivers "CW-" connects to control cards XD pin ,
  3. Drivers "5V" connects to control cards 5V pin.(The USB Mach3 control card cant support connection EN- and EN+ ).

  • Stepper motors wrings ( 4 wires) :

  1. Connect stepper motors RED wire to drivers A+ port
  2. Connect stepper motors GREEN wire to drivers A- port
  3. Connect stepper motors YELLOW wire to drivers B+ port
  4. Connect stepper motors BLUE wire to drivers B- port

Description of TB6600 Stepper Motor Driver

  • There are two input terminals, both of which adopt the common anode input mode.
  • The level of the input pulse is 5V, if it is a 12V level pulse, a 1K resistor is required, if it is a 24V level pulse, a 2.4K resistor is required.
  • The motor runs when the CLK has pulses, and automatically enters the set half-current state when there is no pulse, and the motor is locked.
  • The motor rotates forward when CW is high or suspended, and reverses when it is low.
  • When EN is high or floating, it is working state, when it is low, it is offline.
  • Note 1: The power supply cannot be connected reversely, otherwise the chip will be burnt out.
  • Note 2:The set current should not exceed the rated current of the motor.
