●Truck Upfitters Pair (2 total) of 80 pound (each) gas struts. 26.5" extended length and 15.4" compressed length. Most commonly used and compatible with for Snuglid/Snugtop brand (SL & F2 models) and compatible with Snuglid style Tonneau covers with 2 single lift assist arms. Fits other similar brand of fiberglass tonneau covers / truck lids, but measurement is required to ensure fit.
●These are not compatible with all Snuglid fiberglass tonneau models (they do NOT fit ANY SL2 or RL models). Measure your strut from center of socket to center of socket when fully opened and fully closed to get accurate measurement. Also check for 80 pounds of pressure, or 355N - 356N Newtons of pressure and part number 713119 on the strut. We also offer 29.5 long props for longer beds, in 80, 90 and 100 lb pressures.
●Comes with four threaded 13mm ball mounts and nuts for alternate other than tonneau cover applications, such as in RV doors and awnings, boat hatch spring lifts, storage bed lifts, etc. These gas shock lift supports CANNOT be compressed by hand. These gas props MUST be installed in the EXTENDED / OPEN position. It is nearly impossible to install them in the CLOSED position. Please refer to the install video for guidance on how to install.
●Compatible with some (but not all) Snuglid SL and F2 Shortbed and Extrashort bed (5.5-6.5) Truck Tonneau Covers with single lift arms (see picture). Check your original struts for part numbers: Compatible with Snugtop # 713119 or compatible with Stabilus # 202677.

Truck Upfitters Premium Gas Struts for Snuglid Fiberglass tonneau covers. Compatible with most Snuglid SL and F2 Models for compact and fullsize truck with extrashort and short beds (5.5-6.5 long). These ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ALL Snuglid fiberglass tonneau. Please measure your existing struts before replacing with these. These are 80 lb struts, so they are compatible with heavy weight fiberglass Snuglid and other similar brand tonneaus that have 2 single lift style arms. Please check out our other sizes and pressures of gas struts by searching for Truck Upfitters. NOTE: These struts require two people to install, one person to held cover in open position while another removes and replaces the strut. Removing strut while cover is open and unsupported can cause injury or damage.
