Working Principle:
The proximity switch consists of three major components: an oscillator, a switch circuit, and an amplifier output circuit.
The oscillator generates an alternating magnetic field. When the metal target approaches this magnetic field and reaches the sensing distance, eddy currents are generated within the metal target, causing the oscillation to attenuate and eventually stopping. Oscillator oscillation and stop changes are processed by the post-amplifier circuit and converted into a switching signal to trigger the drive control device to achieve non-contact detection purposes.
The closer the target is to the sensor, the closer the target is to the sensor, the greater the damping in the coil; the greater the damping, the smaller the current of the sensor oscillator.
