Description

The Millipore SLGV033RS hydrophilic PVDF Millex-GV filter unit has a 0.22 micron filter and 33mm housing for sterilization and clarification of aqueous solutions and solutions containing proteins. The PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) membrane has low protein-binding syringe filters for clarification and prefitration, and is appropriate for use with stem cells including mouse embryonic, human embryonic, mesenchymal, neural, hematopoietic, pancreatic, cardiac, induced pluripotent, and epithelial cells. Filters have been gamma irradiated to insure purity and sterilization. The large filter surface area and 10 bar (145 psi) inlet pressure increases flow rate to speed filtering. The yellow color-coded housing eases identification of the pore size. A Certificate of Quality included in each box describes Millipores quality standards in detail. The package includes 50 filters.
