How to do a proper cut?
Tear off the back paper of the skateboard grip tape, adjust the position, and lay it flat on the skateboard.
Press from the middle position to both sides.
Make sure while you are putting in on, to ease the bubbles out as you go.
After sticking it up, use a metal tool to scrape out traces along the edge of the skateboard.
Finally, use a knife to cut along the traces.
