The PTL MINI (Mini / Economy Paper Tray Lock) will lock your printer paper tray in order to avoid theft of paper, pre printed checks and other media. It may also be used to lock drawers. The PTL MINI attaches to the front of your printer, above the tray that you want to lock. (It attaches via a strong adhesive glue that we include with the installation kit.) To secure multiple printer trays: You can order multiple PTL MINI units and "daisy chain" them down the front of your printer - Glue one PTL MINI above each paper tray. (This works for some, but not all, printers.) You may also consider purchasing our PTL 5 (Business Machine Security Printer Paper Tray Lock / B096T5R23W) or our Printer Tray Lock Device - Extended DL PTL-5-EXT (B09BP6213W) - They attach to the side of your printer. They can be attached to your printer in such a way that they sit in-between and secure TWO printer paper trays at once.
