Warm Tips for You!
Channel reception can vary based on local broadcasts, distance from transmission towers, and environmental obstructions.
If your digital TV antenna is not performing as expected, consider the following:
1. Research available channels in your local area by visiting dtv.gov/maps or antennaweb.org. The actual range of reception depends on your distance and location. In the TVs setup menu, adjust the scan type to "Antenna" or "Air."
2. If your TV lacks a built-in tuner, you can enhance reception by adding an ATSC digital converter box to receive HD signals.
3. If necessary, reposition the antenna to a different location and install it as high as possible. Orient the antenna toward the direction of the broadcast tower, and keep it away from high-power devices such as air conditioners, elevators, hairdryers, and microwave ovens.
4. For optimal results, place the antenna near windows whenever possible (highly recommended).
