Virginia Tech impact tests evaluated a headgears ability to reduce linear and rotational acceleration of the head resulting from head-to-head impacts a soccer player might see on the field. Advanced tech causes Halo 3 to stiffen in cool/cold environments when not on your head. So, if it’s a little stiff, take a few minutes to knead it with your hands or hold it close to your body heat and will quickly start to soften. Once you wear it for a few minutes, Halo 3 will soften even more and be so comfortable you’ll forget it’s on your head |
Once it is warm and softened, and before you put your Halo 3 on your head, grab it on two ends and pull outward firmly for a few seconds to create more flex and stretch it out. Stretching it will make it more flexible and doing so will make it easier to place on your head properly and make a more accurate initial fit. Now, place it on your head so the Unequal logo is located in front and on your forehead. For proper protection, Halo 3 should be positioned squarely on your forehead, above your eyebrows and below your hairline |
Once you wear it for a few minutes, it will soften even more. But, similar to wearing a new piece of jewelry, watch or another item, the sensation of wearing protective headgear might feel a bit foreign or tight at first.
