  1. There are two kinds of commonly used materials for making glass balls: Soda Lime Glass & Borosilicate Glass.
  2. Soda-lime glass is known as chemically inert. It is resistant to alkaline solutions. The balls made of soda-lime glass have good electric and corrosion-resistant properties but can not bear the thermal shock. The melting point is about 700C.
  3. Borosilicate glass is highly chemical and heat resistant. Borosilicate glass balls are dimension stable with a melting point of about 800C.
  4. Glass balls are especially useful for check valves, visual flow equipment, low-speed bearings, and many labs and experimental applications.
  5. Notice: Please confirm the Ball Diameter you are ordering.
