It can take up to a 3/8" cable and used for doubling the winch pulling capacity. Snatch blocks double the pulling power of any winch, or aid in angled pulls. They also reduce heat build up and amp draw. Snatch block pivots at the pulley pin to allow quick attachment to your cable. No need to disassemble.
