Feature

●FACTORY INSTALLED PICKUPS: comes with internal Piezo pickups that let you control volume and tone through a PA system or amplifier; boost your sound in any venue and dial-in your tone
●WHY IT MATTERS: cajons arent naturally loud, so if you play with larger combos or in bigger venues, youll need a volume boost to be heard; these pickups lift the ceiling of normal cajon applications so you can cut through the mix
●HOW IT WORKS: like a mini drum kit, the walnut playing surface produces deep bass and crisp snare tones; these sounds vary depending on where you strike with your hands (MIDDLE: bass, LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES: snare)
●GO DEEPER: the Baltic birch resonating body has a large forward-facing bass port that projects toward your audience; this gives you fuller low-end tone
●OF NOTE: the pickups dont require batteries to work; just plug into an amp or PA with a quarter-inch cable, adjust the dials, and start playing (cable not included)
●ZOOM IN: there are two dials and two quarter-inch jacks; SNARE AND BASS: mix your tone, OUTPUT: send your signal to an amp or PA, LINK: join other Meinl Percussion passive pickup instruments through the cajons system
●BY THE NUMBERS: this turbo size Slaptop Cajon measures 18 1/2" long x 9 1/2" wide x 14 1/4" tall and weighs 9 lbs; its large size has enough volume for any room, and its about as loud as a traditional cajon
●THE BIG PICTURE: Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturer and brand established 1951 in Germany; our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure youre delivered the absolute finest quality

Description

Equipped with dials to mix your sound, the Pickup Turbo Slaptop Cajon gives you the ultimate playing experience when extra amplification is needed. Bass and snare volume knobs give you the ability to individually dial-in each frequency for a well-balanced tone and mix. A quarter-inch cable jack allows you to send your signal through any amp or PA system (cables not included). Additionally, this cajon is equipped with a quarter-inch “link” jack where can link other Meinl passive pickup instruments through this cajons system and control their output with the cajons dials. This eliminates the need for additional amps or outputs to minimize your setup. Ideal for any plugged-in outdoor show, large venue or intimate acoustic coffee house set, the Meinl Pickup Turbo Slaptop Cajon is extraordinarily versatile for any setting. The unique T-shape of this cajon is designed for upright playing. Keep your back straight with the playing surface in your lap, and play your cajon grooves like normal. Its walnut playing surface with fixed internal snares on both sides delivers outstanding crisp slap tones and punchy bass notes. Play toward the middle for bass hits and closer to the sides for snare sounds. This surface can be played with either your hands or cajon brushes. The Baltic birch resonating body in black reflects the sound for a clear tone, and forward-facing sound ports help the cajon to project in acoustic settings. This full-sized Pickup Turbo Slaptop Cajon measures 18 ½” L x 14 ¼” H x 9 ½” D.
