These LS Series retrofit trunion kits are designed to convert stock LS Series rocker arms into captured roller bearing rocker arms. The factory bearings are a known failure on the LS Engines. When they fail they send small bearings through the entire engine. The upgraded trunions use a captured roller bearing allowing for a reliable smooth rotation. The upgraded trunions also give more stability at higher RPM. We use these trunion kits in anything from stock 4.8s all they way up to 1,000+hp turbo motors. The Kit includes the rocker arm trunions, rocker arm bearings, and rocker arm retaining rings and upgraded bolts for a complete installation. The bolts we supply are slightly shorter than factory bolts so they do not protrude into the intake ports. Bolts are stronger than a grade 8 bolt with a minimum tensile strength of 170,000 psi. Installation is fairly simple with the use of a press or a simple vise along with basic hand tools. Instructions are included to aid in the installation.
