An alternative to plastics in the kitchen, functional utensils handcrafted of natural American hardwoods provide safe functionality and peace of mind. Made in Indiana, this all-wood cheese board consists of locally-sourced hardwoods laminated into attractive vertical stripes. Hardwood types will vary and may include maple, cherry, walnut, oak, hickory, or ash. Finished with food-grade organic linseed oil and includes an integrated cheese slicer of stainless steel.
Note: stainless steel portion is manufactured outside of the US by Prodyne with a heavy duty cutting wire, which is replaceable if needed.
Care: To clean tough residue, use a Scotchbrite pad (or similar scrubber) with dish soap and warm water. Dry with a towel or air-dry. As with wood utensils, it is not recommended for dishwashers. Occasionally oil your utensils with natural coconut oil, mineral oil, beeswax or similar using a paper towel or dry cloth.
