Warm Reminder

In order to ensure that the valve spring compressor tool has better working performance and longer working life, please take the following tips:

Try not to operate the tool with a power wrench. A powerful impact can easily damage the tool threads, rendering them useless.
Lubricate the studs on top of the connection tool with grease before use. Doing so saves effort and works better.

Valve Springs Removal Step


Fixed Tool Base Secure spring compression tool base and valve with bolts and washers connection.	Install the Top of the Compressor Place the top of the compressor tool over the 2 valve spring.	Tighten the Top Nut Tighten the top nut slowly to compress the spring and expose the valve keepers.


Remove the Valve Keepers Remove the valve keepers. It is best to use magnet tools for this process, this will prevent the keepers from falling into the head.	Remove the Top of the Tool Loosen the top nut and remove the top of the tool.	Finish Valve Spring Removal Remove the spring and the base of the tool, work down.

Valve Springs Install Step


Fixed Tool Base Secure spring compression tool base and valve with bolts and washers connection.	Install the Valve Spring Put the spring on the stem, and place the top of the tool over the springs.	Install the Valve Keepers Tighten the top nut slowly to compress the spring and install the valve keepers.	Remove the Tool Loosen the top nut to allow the spring to spring back slowly. Remove the tool, complete valve spring installation.
