Feature

●* This instrument is a gas law demonstrator for high school physics teaching demonstrations to verify Boyle-Marriott law, Charles law, Guy Lussacs law, ideal gas state equation
●* The demonstrator is composed of main components such as air column glass tube, pressure gauge, constant volume mechanism, fixed frame and volume ruler.
●* The volume and pressure of the gas can be read from the volume scale and the scale of the pressure gauge. The gas volume is changed by pulling the pipe plug by hand. The rotation of the pressure gauge pointer indicates that the gas pressure also changes. In this way, when the temperature is constant, the relationship between the pressure P and the volume V (Boyle-Marzhaos law) is obtained.
●* If you need to change the temperature of the gas to be measured, the gas column glass tube of the demonstrator must be immersed in a beaker containing hot water to obtain the relationship of P, V, and T (gas equation).
●* When keeping the volume V or the pressure P constant, the Charlies law or the Guatezachs law can be verified.

Description

Product name: Law of gas Demonstrator
Product size: 170*330 mm/6.69*12.99 in
Product material: metal, glass, plastic
Product weight: about 550g

How to use
Fix the demonstrator on the square bracket, open the rubber cap on the small nozzle of the air column glass tube, drag the tube plug up and down by hand, so that the contact surface of the tube plug and the outer tube is evenly coated with oil .
A 800mm beaker, a demonstration thermometer and a proper amount of boiling water are required for the demonstration.

Precautions
1. The friction surface of the air column glass tube should be kept clean and free of dirt, and the oil should be clean and free of impurities. Avoid dry and oil-free parts of the friction surface, otherwise the friction will increase sharply and air leakage will occur.
2. When the air column glass tube is immersed in hot water, take 2 to 3 minutes after the thermometer temperature does not rise and start to fall, then read again. At this time, the air column temperature and the water temperature approximately reach equilibrium. Premature reading will cause large errors.
3. Every time you change the hot water temperature, the temperature difference should be about 10C-30C, the temperature is higher, the volume change and the pressure change are more obvious.
4. When verifying Boyle-Marriott law, in order to keep the gas isothermal, do not hold the gas column glass tube with your hands.
