Description

How to use:

Invert the instrument, pour all the balls into the V-shaped slot, insert the insert plate, and then turn over so that the V-shaped slot is on the upper part of the instrument, pull the insert plate and drop the balls, and the collision with the nail array will spread randomly, the distance between the nails is equal to the left and right, and each horizontal position of the upper layer is exactly in the middle of the two nails of the next layer, when the balls touch the nails during the falling process, Both fall to the left or right with a probability of 1/2, and then hit the next layer of nails, and so on, until it falls into the narrow slot of the bottom plate, so that many balls of the same size drop through the entrance, as long as the number of balls is quite large, it will pile up in the bottom plate into an approximate normal density function pattern (i.e. : high in the middle, low at the ends, low in the middle). An ancient bell type with left and right symmetry where N is the number of layers of nails.
